Used Bostitch® SL1838BC Cap Stapler can increase your speed by as much as ten times versus manual hammer tackers when installing felt, house wrap, and foam board insulation. This tool drives a 3/4 to 1-1/2-inch length, 5/16-inch crown, 18-gauge staple through a 1-inch diameter plastic cap to increase holding power on house wraps. The wider 5/16-inch crown staple helps prevent puncture to the cap. With an adjustable depth guide and lightweight aluminum design, Bostitch® has designed a tool that can significantly reduce the time it takes to put up house wraps, while decreasing the potential for failure or tearing of those wraps. This tool comes equipped with oil, a hex wrench and caps and staples.
