Here’s your chance to own a beautiful, like new Taylor Koa guitar for far less than a brand new one. You’re looking at a stunning Limited Edition, 424ce Koa guitar from 2007 in like new, show-room condition.
This is what the company says about Hawaiian koa: "It has long impressed guitar players with its distinctive combination of lush acoustic tone and naturally stunning visual character. We treat Hawaiian koa like the superstar tone wood it is, with a range of guitars that showcase both its natural coloration and its dazzling sonic properties. Players will hear a vibrant midrange response with clear, articulate trebles and a dash of low-end warmth for a balanced sound that can adapt across playing styles."
That might be a bit much . . . . but all I know is the guitar plays beautifully and sounds absolutely wonderful, whether it’s in the living room or plugged in.
In addition to the Hawaiian koa on the top, back and sides, the neck is tropical American mahogany, the fretboard and bridge are both ebony. Because koa wood is so attractive, I had the original pick-guard taken off by the dealer and replaced it with a clear one. As you can see, the guitar has satin sides and back with a gloss top.
It’s a one-owner, I bought it new and it’s been humidified and well cared for over the years. I’ve always kept it in its original Taylor Deluxe case. The neck is straight and true. I played this in church occasionally over the years. I’m selling it because there are others in my collection that I play more often and I’ve decided to thin out a few.
There are no dings, dents or scratches on the guitar. The camera doesn't show any, but you’ll need to examine this guitar very carefully to even notice any light pick marks. The price is firm and I’ll deliver it within a reasonable distance of Platteville, Wisconsin. Let me know if you have any questions.
