Designed to help person transition easily from walker to chair and then turns and rolls under the dining table. 90 degree swiveling seat with locking positions. Designed to turn and roll safely. Has a foot pedal brake. Rated for 350 pounds—we used it with 300lb person and had no problem. We used it for in-home care briefly after a stroke. We purchased the additional frame with rollers so it could be pushed around the floor sort of like a wheelchair but if you want it to be stationary and just swivel at the table, you can remove the rolling base caddie and put the original feet on it (we kept the feet).
